Apparently, we have a blog now.
I’m not entirely sure when that happened, but here we are.
Hag Miscellany is going to be the place for all the things that don’t quite fit on a product page: ingredient rabbit holes, stories behind the bottles, things I’ve learned while making products, folklore, travel discoveries, experiments that worked, experiments that absolutely did not, and whatever other useful or interesting oddities wander through Hagstone Hill.
Some posts will probably be about skincare. Some will be about ingredients. Some may involve strange rocks with holes in them, tropical plants I became obsessed with on vacation, or why a perfectly reasonable formula decided to misbehave at room temperature.
In other words, it will be a miscellany.
I make Hagstone Hill products because I genuinely love figuring out why things work, where ingredients come from, and how to make something better, and there is usually a much bigger story behind a little bottle or jar than I can squeeze onto a label.
So that’s what this space is for.
Welcome to Hag Miscellany.
